Afternoon Tea
As well as our delicious cakes and treats… we also offer a Mobile Vintage Afternoon Tea, catering for your special event. Everything will be catered for from Dainty Sandwiches, delicious cakes and a variety of scones and sausage rolls all set up on Vintage China.
We can cater or hire for a range of events including Weddings, Baby Showers, Birthdays and much more.
China Hire
To get a quote for our crockery hire package please fill out a contact us form,and someone will be in contact with you!
Each guest receives one each of the following:
- Tea cup & saucer
- Side plate
- Tea Spoon
- Cake Fork and
- Butter Knife
Every four guests will also receive one each of the following:
- Tea pot
- Milk jug
- Sugar bowl
- Sugar tongs
- 2 Bowls for jam and cream
- 1 Three tier cake stand
- 1 Two tier cake stand or cake plate
The price Includes washing up however a discount is available if you return items washed.
Cake stands are delivered unassembled in order to transport them. They will need to be assembled once you have received them. It’s really easy and instructions are included.
Terms & Conditions
Vintage China hire period is 3 days. Additional days may be added at an additional cost. Please contact us to discuss this further.
Additional items that are required after the final payment will be accommodated if possible.
Payment for additional items will need to be made on delivery.
Colour schemes will be met where possible, please contact us to discuss any preferences.
Due to the age of the china the patterns and gilt may have signs of wear. We ensure the china for your events has no chips or cracks.
You are welcome to collect and return our china and accessories to Vanilla Clouds Bakery.
If you require delivery to your venue, please include this in the contact form when contacting us,so we can work out a delivery cost,alternativly you are welcome to collect and return to vanilla clouds bakery (Hevingham)
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total hire charge is required to secure the booking. The full balance and damage deposit is required 2 weeks before the event.
We ask for a damage deposit of £50.00 cheque which will be held and not banked. The cheque will be returned once the china and accessories have been checked and deemed to be in good condition.
Payment may be made in cash, cheques or bank transfer.
Our china is old and delicate and not dishwasher safe and requires care when handling and packing. If you do not feel happy to wash the china by hand we offer a washing up service which is 10% of the total hire cost.
Please be kind enough to let us know if you require this service before the final payment is due.
Please ensure that our items are re-packed safely in the original packaging.
If a washing up service is require please wipe, scrap clean and thoroughly empty all items before re-packaging.
In the event of cancellation within 7 days of the hire date 100% of the total hire cost will be retained.
If the cancellation is made within 30 days then 50% of the total hire cost will be retained.
Any breakages will be deducted from the £50.00 damage deposit. A charge of £5 per china item, £15 per teapot and £15 per cake stand (please ask for replacement costs of other items).
Vanilla Clouds Bakery takes no responsibility in the event of any injury to any party through breakages of any equipment or any other accident during the hire period.
We take no responsibility for any claims that arise from any event concerning or involving items hired from Vanilla Clouds Bakery Vintage China Hire.
